Xactimate is the insurance industry’s standard platform for estimating repair and reconstruction. RGC uses it to structure insurance valuations and restoration costing so quantities, unit costs, and scope stay consistent from file to file. The estimate still reflects the conditions observed on site.

Technology that supports accurate quantification
RGC is deliberately tech-enabled. We use current industry platforms so measurements, valuations, and visual records stay consistent and defensible.

360-degree imaging captures interiors and building envelopes as a continuous visual record. RGC uses it on insurance valuation and inspection assignments so rooms, finishes, and envelope condition can be reviewed after the site visit. The photographs document what was observed and sit alongside measurements and written findings.
CoreLogic is a widely used source of property and claims reference data. RGC draws on it when preparing defensible insurance valuation and claims reports, for consistent background on the asset and market. The data informs the file; site observations and professional analysis still drive the conclusions.
RSMeans is a standard construction cost database used to benchmark labour, materials, and equipment. RGC references it on live assignments when independent cost context is needed for insurance valuation, restoration, or construction-related work. Published rates are a starting point, then adjusted to the project, location, and observed scope.
PlanSwift is digital takeoff software used to measure quantities from drawings and plans. RGC uses it to extract areas, lengths, and counts for insurance valuation and construction cost assignments. Takeoff feeds the estimate and is checked against site conditions and the consultant’s reading of the documents.
